Mild fruity bubblegum-like belgian notes, with medium-high malt body. Average for the style, but a very drinkable nice beer. 2016 advent cal.

Bottle - Fruity, candy esters. Clear gold with a small white head. Estery and fruity sweet notes. Very Belgian and not great.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of bubblegum upfront, followed by some toasted English malt, and candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with bubblegum, English malt and light candied sugar. Unusual, with lots of bubblegum and candied sugar on the finish. Okay.

Amber with a slight haze. Has a lot of phenolic, bubblegum notes on the nose. Does not smell appetizing. Has a light phenol taste, sweet, unbalanced, quite sweet, and the malt character is not nearly sweet and rounded enough to enjoy.

Tasting at Matt’s, as Inveralmond Inspirations #2 De Mons
Hazy blond color. Mild Ale, with no character, moderately sweet, and hints of vegetables and puke.
Not terrible, but below average.

330ml bottle from 2016 craft beer advent calendar. Pours a clear gold with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of dried fruit, Belgian yeast, bread and wheat malt. Sweet flavour of dried fruit, wheat malt, Belgian yeast, biscuit, orange peel, caramel and light spice with a bitter grass finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Ok, but nothing special.

330ml bottle at The Wild Boar. Pours a clear golden body under a filmy white layer. Mid-sweet fruity aroma, pears and plums. Taste of Belgian yeasty fruits, berry fruit, dough and pears. Rather long lived, semi-sweet, fruity finish. Decent and food friendly (Aberdeen 17.04.2016).
