Bottle 330ml @ Lindheim Beer Dinner
Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, smoke, dried fruits, caramel, smoked meat and hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long smoked and sweet finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brownish red colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of smoked meat, on a background of sweetish malts, hints of fruit and caramel. Sweet flavour, loads of malts and caramel, also plenty of smoked meat, a hint of fruit again, medium bitter hops in the finish. Might be called "interesting", but not really my cup of tea.

Slightly unclear dark amber. Beige head. Lots of smoke in aroma, taste and aftertaste. Balanced with, or opposed to, sweetness. Not quite in harmony.

On tap at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. A lightly unclear, dark golden beer. Smoked nose with ham and hints of peat. Meaty, with caramel. Dried fruits, some bitterness, sweetness and a smoked, lightly peated touch. Sort of dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation. Full body and a little warmth. A really lovely and wonderful lightly smoked beer. Would very much like to repeat this one. 131019

On tap @ Henrik. Pours dark red or maroon, with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, peat, campfire and a very nice chocolate. Full creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts and smoke, as well as dark fruits, kandi and chocolate. A nice surprise!

Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Pleasant but not very strong aroma of smoked malt. Flavor is sweet, fruity, malty and moderate smoke. Not much bitterness. Fine body and a bit sweet in aftertaste. Nice flavor, practical in smaller amounts but otherwise a bit one dimensional and sweet. Alcol is quite well hidden.

18.09.2013, tap @ Pingvinen:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly peated (!?), did NOT expect that at all, caramel malts, wet leather, shed, peat, almonds, bacon, grass, toffee. Taste is also peated, caramel malts, wet leather, peat, burnt caramel, almond essence, grass, shed, toffee. Longlasting bitterness, kind of dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of interesting though.
