Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Clear amber reddish color, average to medium sized white head. Smell and taste are both weird, a bit medicinal, herbs or spices, a weird sort of anise liquorice, wheat. Not my thing.

0.25 l bottle from ’Liquorstore The Pint’, bottled in January 2016. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, creamy, almost stable, tan head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and herbal aroma of fennel, coriander, clove and some banana. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and herbal taste of fennel, coriander, banana, licorice and clove, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy and herbal finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Interesting experiment, but especially the fennel is way too prominent, overall unbalanced. Strange for a first brew, but certainly braver than just another IPA. Definitely curious about the following brews. This beer is just not my cup of tea.
