(Draught at BrewDog Kungsholmen, Stockholm, 21 Oct 2015) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with coffee, black rye bread, resin and grapefruit. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, pine needles, dark chocolate, resin and a generous piney bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made, highly drinkable. Nice one.

Where: BrewDog Södermalm, Stockholm.
Appearance: Brown colour with a small tan head.
Aroma: Fruit, citrus, grapefruit, grass, bread.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Roasted malt, hops, grapefruit, liquorice, bread, citrus.

Draught @ BrewDog Gbg. Pours reddish pale black with a frothy and creamy beige head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty, slightly fruity and slightly grassy with roasted malts, caramel, toasted cereal, grapefruit juice, mango, coffee hard candy, moist soil, moist grass, pine needles, sweet liquorice candy and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly malty and herbal. Mouthfeel is soft, astringent, slightly watery and light bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, caramel, grapefruit juice, dark roast coffee, moist grass, moist soil and lemon zest. Sessionable but a bit harsh and thin. (Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20151019) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A brew with unpleasantly burnt taste.

Keg at BrewDog Södermalm, Stockholm. Clear ruby/black, small head. Passionfruit, red berries and licorice up front. Dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Minty licorice and grapefruit. Mid bitter finish.

Draught. Almost clear deep brown liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, coffee, light bread and mango. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of coffee, light mango, bread and citrus. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty good. Drinkable.

Draught @ Brewdog Helsinki. Pours dark brown with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, grassy hops, hints of coffee, chocolate, cocoa and fruits. Taste is crisp, hoppy and bitter with some hints of roastiness. Finish is crisp and mildly hoppy with hints of roastiness. A bit thin bodied but quaffable.

Tap@ Brewdog Helsinki. Pours near black with a thin white head. Aroma has roasted malt, coffee, woody notes. Citrusy, some roastedness, grapefruit. Nice fruity session IPA.
