(On tap @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Dec 11 2015) Pours a lightly hazed cola brown with a moderate dense tan head and lots of lace. Nose is interesting, oxidized, black olive, dry sherry, faint spicebox, a bit of smoky toasted malt, citric acid, slight tart red berries as well. Palate is oxidized, lean and a bit lactic and lemony with somewhat smoky malt. Some tart currant notes. A bit spiced, lightly. A little thin and watery. A bit of unsweetened berry yoghurt in the finish. Unusual winter ale for sure, a bit odd even for Brekeriet. Interesting but I felt like the malts had thinned out a touch too much - keg condition? Still cool to try.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 26 Sep 2015) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, fruity, sourish nose with citrus, grapefruit and caramel. Malty, tart taste with notes of caramel, citrus peel, grapefruit and a finish with a balanced acidity and low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, with a balanced refreshing sourness. Nice one.

Draught @ Haket. Pours hazy blackish brown with a creamy beige head that leaves lots of sticky trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, fruity, tiny spicy and tiny funky with crisp-bread, caramel, lemon juice, lime juice, cocoa powder, hay, cloves, leather, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, sour, malty and tiny spicy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tart and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and sour with dark bread, caramel, toffee, lemon juice, lime juice, moist soil, hay, cloves and lemon zest. Solid sour dark ale. Solid spice character. Nice malt profile. No band aids or noticeable vinegar.
