Poured from a 22oz bottle. Aroma is fairly cinnamon forward with some light coconut notes. Moderate chocolate notes with light roast. A hint of alcohol spice. Pours black with a medium small, thick, mocha head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with moderately strong coconut notes and some lighter cinammon character. Quite a bit of chocolate with lighter roast notes. Medium light bitterness with a light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied and silky with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a better stout than most. I’m not a big cinnamon fan, but I like that the cinnamon is not nearly as strong in the flavor. I wish there was more coconut, but it comes through nicely in the flavor.
