This is a full bodied 10.5% ABV IMperial Stout with huge amounts of roasted malt. Its single hopped with Centennial.
After fermentation it´s infused with SHG-Coffe from Las Delicias El Salvador from the Menendez family plantation 1600 m above the sea.
This is an organic Single Estate coffe imported and roasted by the guys at Johan&Nyström just outside Stockholm.

Draught@SBWF2013. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, coffee, roasted malts, some slight ripe fruitiness too. Flavour is very similar in a very nice balance, although the alcohol does show a bit.

(Keg at OlutExpo 2013) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lighlty brown. Aroma had roasted malts, coffee, liquorice and sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, coffee, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A tasty balanced imperial stout.

Pours pitch black with a foamy white head. Aroma of roasty malts with notes of dark chocolate and licorice. Taste is smooth, salty, roasty and malty with notes of licorice and sweet syrup. Finish is sweetish and salty with roastiness and licorice. Okay.

Tap @ olutexpo. Black, brown head. Beans, sweetness, honey, medicine notes. Flavor has roasted malt, chocolate, vegetables, licorice. Didn’t like the vegetable notes here.

Aroma has cocoa, some nuts, butter and nettles. Flavour has salty licorice, some soy sauce and herbal notes. Also some peaty whisky notes. Too salty but not bad still.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 3 Oct 2013) Black colour with brief, frothy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with freshly roasted coffee, dark chocolate and pine needles. Malty, roasted taste with notes of strong fresh coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and a solid resinous bitterness in the finish. Full body, with balanced sweetness. Excellent stout with lots of fresh coffee (from my favourite coffee roasters as well) and dark chocolate, and alcohol fairly well hidden. Stunning stuff!

Sample at Kristiansand Ølfestival. Black colour with a beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, hop, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, hop. Full body. Very nice beer.

Sample at SBWF 2013. Black with a tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, some coffee and light hops. Also notes of vanilla. The finish was long.

Sampled at Kristiansand Ølfestival. Black body with a stable beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and dark fruit. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, quality coffee and dark chocolate with balanced bitterness. Fine body and a long aftertaste with rather strong coffee flavor. Smooth and very nice imp stout.
