Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich chocolate, caramel, nuts, cinnamon, maåle syrop, coffee, vanilla, bourbon and hops. Lovely.

Draught @ CBC. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, chocolate cake, cocoa, vanilla, spice, cinnomon, little coffee. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate, chocolate cake, spice, cinnamon, little vanilla, light alcohol. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 140516

[5/14/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Green session. Black with a brown head. Great aroma of chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, bourbon. Sweet flavor with chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, and a boozy touch. Full-bodied.

On tap at CBC 2016 - day 2. Another outstanding imperial stout from Cycle. Pitch black pour with a small tan head. Maple syrup, cinnamon, brewed coffee, toffee, chocolate, cocoa, molasses etc. Smooth mouthfeel with low carbonation. Complex flavours, very well balanced.

Tap. Pours opaque black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is coconut, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, coffee, hints of green pepper. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, a touch spicy. Medium body, creamy. Solid.

Tap at CBC 2016 Green session, poured almost black with a thin whispy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, cinnamon, vanilla, coffee, red berry fruit, alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich oily warm sweet malt alcoholic palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.
