Semi-hazy dark brown, four finger lightly beige foam that dissipates slowly, leaving some lacings. Aroma is roasted and sweet malt, slight grassy hops, fudge, burnt leather, sweet liquorice, tiny oak touch. Taste is more flowery hoppy than thr suggested at first, then eventually more malty, sweet notes of sweet liquorice and cookies, coffee and sweet liquorice with a sligh warming, dry touch towards the end. Medium body, low to medium carbo, slight sticky texture.

Pours hazy brown with off-white head. Aroma of some roasted malt, caramel, vanilla and oak. Pretty sweet taste with the same notes as the aroma. Well balanced with some dryness to it.

Deep amber color, small off-white head. Ryeish, woody aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish caramel and oak/wood notes. Dry finish. Ok but doesn’t gain much from oak.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2013) Reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, raisins, caramel and gentle aromas of oak wood. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, caramel, dark fruit, roasted malt, a touch of oak wood and a spicy bitterness with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Very well balanced and quite tasty. Nice one. (Swedish rating #1.000)

Bottled@SBWF2013. Deep coppery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild wooden notes along with a quite pleasant caramelly and slightly toasted coffeeish thing. Flavour is mildly toasted along with some slight toffeeish and wooden notes. Tasty, but a bit thin in the palate.
