Höst 2012 är en stark skotte, även kallad Wee Heavy på 8 procent.
Ölet är maltsött med en aning rökighet och har en lätt beska. Vi har använt oss av pilsnermalt, münchnermalt och en rad olika karamellmalter. Tillsammans med en mindre mängd humle skapar dessa maltsorter ett höstmörkt öl med en lätt beska och en söt, maltig brödighet. Perfekt att värma sig med när kylan kryper fram såväl i Skottland som i Sverige!

On tap at Ardbeg Embassy, January 2013. Brownish with a medium, tan head. Aroma and taste of malt, chocolate, toffee, dried fruit and dark bread. Medium carbonation and with a medium body. Descent.

Draught (Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm) - Dark brown with red tinges. Malty, fruity and slightly smoky aroma. Fruity, malty and slightly sweet taste with notes of raisins, sultanas, spicy malt and fruitcake. Very easy to drink. It’s drinkability belies its strength.

Draught. Hazy deep copper liquid with small to medium light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, light smoke, caramel, biscuit, booze, grain and dark fruit. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of licorice, grain, raisins and booze. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Nice and stylistically correct.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 5 Oct 2012) Brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, caramel and raisins. Malty taste with notes of dark rye bread, raisins, prunes, caramel and a spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and quite nice.

Sample @ SMÖF 2012. Pours clear brownish ruby with a huge frothy brownish golden head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of thick lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with sweet dark bread, charred wood, resin, toffee, lemon zest and hints of tropical fruit hard candy, biscuits and peat. Taste is sweet, bitter, very tiny sour and malty with sweet dark bread, lemon zest, charred wood, pine, moist soil, dark honey, toffee and biscuits. Mouthfeel is slightly soft, round and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with dark bread, moist wood, hay, smoke, prunes, lemon zest and hints of cereal.

Draught (Höst 2012 Stark Skotte@SBWF2012. Very deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is berries, yeast, mild wood and some slight leathery notes. Flavour is berries, wood, yeast and mild earthyness.

Draught at SBWF. Cloudy nut brown, small head. Aroma of butter and caramel - a whiff of peat. Sweet and soft with generous body. Malty and caramelly with slight notes of red apples. Gently warming finish. A malt feast.
