17th July 2014, on my first flight in the San Clemente Pizza Port. Sweet feel to this hazy golden brew. Not as much vanilla and banana flavours as most beers of this style I have had in Germany, but this was refreshing and interesting. Light bitterness towards the end of each sip, I enjoyed my sample.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat and banana. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long wheat and banana finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear golden colored beer with a small, white head. Lots of banana and some sweetness and cloves in the aroma. Orange hints. Medium body, quite dry, with good carbonation. Banana esters, cloves and some wheat in the flavor. Lemon hints and some bitterness too. Long fruity and bitter finish.

Draught at the brewpub during RBSG. Hazy yellow liquid with small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, cereal and some biscuit. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of banana and clove. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. OK hefe, quite on style.

Pours with a hazed yellow hued body with a large white head. Aromas are of banana esters, nutty, grainy, bready, light caramel and a very mild phenol. Flavors are of 4vg clove, grainy, phenol, bready, wheat, banana and vanilla. Lively bubbles and dry. Didn’t notice the extreme lack of alcohol.

On tap. Hazy and opaque golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast and coriander and citrus. Medium body with a very lively carbonation and sweet citrus notes. No bitterness. Pleasant. 080709

Draft at San Clemente. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of wheat and light notes of banana. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wheat as well as notes of yeast and banana esters.

From tap at San Clemente. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Mild banana fruity ester aroma. Dry banana estery flavour with a mild acidic touch to the end. Ends somewhat flat and estery. Again, just not my style.
