Big hoppy caramel on the nose, clear copper and modest foam. Flavour is chewy caramel with a hoppy finish. Layered but odd, feels fake, I like malty IPAs but this is missing the mark.

Can at home. Clear golden with almost white head. Malty up front with fresh baked bread and sweet US malts, almost honey even. Lime, grapefruit, bitter berry skins, dank weedy hops, ‘green’ hops. Medium sweet and solid medium bitter. Solid medium bodied. Nice classic US IPA, not amazing but cool to drink something like this at a time when most places just have hazy IPAs.

Can from GBBF 2019 and drunk at home. Amber clear colour thin white head. Grapefruit and citrus fruit hoppy aroma. Good piney resin old school PNW west coast IPA. Some good bitterness. Some light caramel. Some sherbet hop on the finish. Yes I liked it a lot. Easy drinking, good toffee, caramel and then a wedge of good hops all the way through it. If I think about a west coast IPA this is more or less what I would expect. Good stuff.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a real nice juicy fruit with some mango and papaya. Flavor is more fruity hops, not intense as I thought it was going to be. I also get some melon and honey malt sweetness. There is no date on the can so I have no idea how fresh this is but as it is the hops are pretty decent and just starting to loss their luster.
