Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear amber with a smallish off-white head. Booze dominates the aroma - and some caramel. Very solid body, lowish carbonation, again heavy caramel and massive booze. A very unrefined DIPA where the hops aren’t really allowed to shine. Just a booze craze. 090212

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruits, straw, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, phenols, malt, and caramel soup, leading to a dry finish Over done. Thanks joergen for sharing.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 1 Oct 2011) Amber colour with almost no head. Malty, fruity, vinous nose with notes of treacle and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, treacle, caramel and a spicy, citric bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, slightly oily mouthfeel. Sweet, almost too sweet, making it a bit unbalanced. But it’s a very nice and tasty beer, and quite drinkable for its strength.

Draught@SBWF2011. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruity, floral wooden and quite grassy. Very pleasantly balanced aroma. Flavour is very similar with a very strong sweet alcoholic sting in the finish. Surprisingly pleasant still.

Sample at SBWF 2011. Draught. Clear, amber liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, booze, resin, pine, citrus, grapefruit, sweet malt and medicinal alcohol. Quite hoppy but not as much as expected. Taste is medium sweet, medium to highly bitter and maltier than I expected. Still hoppy, of course. Medium bodied with OK carbonation. Hmm, not too impressing. Too boozy and a bit boring. A bit too many hop varieties for my liking, none of the hoppy notes really plays the first violin but instead it just becomes a mess of grass and pine.
