Barbe Rufa is a slightly cloudy beer with a creamy head and a fruity aftertaste with notes of banana and lemon. Barbe Rufa is the best of a Belgian triple and a German Weissen beer. Bottle at THT. Hazy light amber with small off white head. Lots of apple juice, spicy yeast, cinnamon, sour pear juice and berries. Light leafy bitter finish. Quite sweet with light sourness and soft bitter finish. Over medium bodied with sticky feel.

Bottle shared thanks to Maakun. Pours very hazy orange brown with a small off white head. Aroma of butterscotch, toffee, overripe yet tart fruits, light veggies and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate sour. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.

Taste: very sweet, sugary, caramel, overripe banana. Aftertaste: malty, bit fruity, metallic touch, grains, grassy notes.

Bottle at horecabeurs 2015. Pours dark amber, small white head. Smell is a bit sweet, some amber notes. complex ! Taste is (sour)-sweet, fruity, complex. Full body. Very malty, buttery in the best way imaginable. very nice, once again !
