Honey with some floral notes along with brown sugar and bready, raisin bread like malt character. Hides the 7.1 fairly well with average carbonation and a medium body. More honey as it warms. Some apple and pear notes on the palate as well. Sweet, but not cloying. Finish is sweet with some light hop bitterness.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy dark reddish brown color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of plum, cherry, pear, apple, caramel, honey, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, peppercorn, light chocolate, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aroma with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pear/honey, and dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of plum, cherry, pear, apple, caramel, honey, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, peppercorn, light chocolate, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of plum, pear, apple, honey, toasted biscuit, light chocolate/nuttiness, peppercorn, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity and solid robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pear/honey, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, fairly crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Light-moderate dryness after the finish. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this was a nice fruited Belgian dark ale. All around good balance and solid robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pear/honey, and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. The aromas were more impressive than the flavors, but this was still a nicely enjoyable offering.

Nice light Belgian with a lot of floral aroma. Pours murky brown without much head or lacing. Easy drinking. Light sweet finish. Tap at monks cafe.

Bottle, Cloud red amber colour. Medium carbonation. Notes of caramel and honey. Fruity (apple, pear) with light bitter finish. Rather sweet. Ok.

Bottle. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is honey, malt, pear, sugar, syrupish. Flavour is the same. Weird beer.
