Following the Blond and Brown Bink, the brewery launched a third type of beer: the Blossom Bink, on the occasion of the 50th consacration of the blossoms in 2000! We brew this seasonal beer every year in the same period (spring-summer). The ingredients are: five types of malts, one type of Belgian hops, brewing water, yeast, honey from Sint-Truiden and pear syrup from Vrolingen. It has a fruity taste with a slightly sweet tone and a long fruity and soft bittery aftertaste.

330ml Bottle - Copper with a slight haze. Raisins, honey and pear in the aroma. Fruity and moderately sweet taste with notes of pear, honey, raisins and caramel. Hides the alcohol quite well.

The beer that is intended to celebrate the well-known horticulture around Sint-Truiden, with pear syrup and honey added to the mash. Creamy beige head, colour reddish brown with amber hue. Malty aroma, chocolate, caramel, fruity indeed with the pear syrup clearly present - and fitting in nicely. Fruity taste, honey and again the pear syrup adding sweetness and mellowness, malty, finishing in a lightly toasted and hoppy bitterishness. I like this quite a lot.

Bottle. A hazy, dark amber to light brown beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has quite a lot of oxidation, with bready caramel malts, acetone notes, fruityness and a touch of dried fruits. Canned pears. It’s lighlty sweet on the palate, with white sugar, canned fruits, a generic fruityness and some caramel. Bread and some bitterness. Acetone, bitterness, fruits and dried fruits in the finish. Not very good, still nice in a way. Don’t like the acetone. 140717

Pours slightly hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, toffee, honey, pear and sugar. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, toffee, sugar and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

When poured murky redbrown colour, after settling nice clear amber color, quite a difference, small frothy off-white head, disappears quickly. At first sweet malty nose, as aroma develops: honey, pear, fruit syrup, toffee. Taste medium sweet, honey, slightly bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, a nice lingering bitterness dominates finish with sugary undertones. A nice beer.

Bruin met lichte roodtint bier. Weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoet met chokolade, caramel en licht rooksmaak. Blijft gemiddeld hangen.

amber/rood, troebel met minimale witte kraag allereerst komen het heerlijke honing aroma binnen tezamen met mooie florale tonen. De smaken zijn redelijk honing zoet, lekkere fruitigheid van oa peer, rozijn, verder floraal, zacht, zoet en alcoholisch. medium body, glad in de mond, normale co2. Smaken zijn erg goed, heeft qua smaakbeleving wel iets weg van een barley wine (honing), lekker spul

Bardzo dobre i smaczne piwo. O czerwono rubinowym zabarwieniu. Głebia posmaku miodu i slodyczy jest tu swietnie wyeksponowana. Daje sie to wyczuc z kazdym lykiem. Zarowno w smakuiana moze nie za wielka co moze dziwic w przypadku belgijskiego piwa ale jednak jest. Bielusienka jak snieg. Polecam na zimowe chlodne wieczory, choc to piwo jest sezonowe, na lato. Ale alkohol ukryty pierwszorzednie

Bottle 7.1% from Kiya Liquor Shop in Nagoya. Nice fruity Belgian aroma with hints of honey. It pours a honey brown with a fine light carbonation & body. A mellow Belgian ale with estery, mild caramel & honey notes. Quite smooth & not boozy at all. A very pleasant beer with a cute colorful label full of flowers with a cartoon bee on it.
