Red brown with thin head. Very strong aroma and flavour of fruity resinous hop. Syrupy red fruits and malts. Very ’west coast’.

Nsf16. Brown madonna isnt brown. Its amber. Smells oak, malts, wood, sweet. Tastes sweet, malts, raisins and something weird and sweet like toffee. Medium body, soft carbo.

Sampled @ Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival, Den Bosch 2016. Red color, clear, average to medium sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste stokes me as an Irish red ale and not a brown ale by far. Malts, sweetish, soft wood, some hops. An Irish red ale imo. Quite pleasant.
