Bottle. Black oily pour. Aroma has chocolate, smoke, roasted malt and red fruit. Taste has smoke, chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, red fruit, licorice, tarr and a long smokey, somewhat dry finish. Delicious, as expected.

Tap at Craft Beer Moranow. Malty aroma, chocolate, plums, caramel, light coffee notes, whisky. Black color, brown head. Malty taste, chocolate, whisky, light coffee, light alcohol notes, medium bitter. Full body, thick texture, soft carbonation and malty bitter finish with chocolate, light coffee and light alcohol notes. Not easy drinking, but very good.

Pitch black, tar-like pour with a tall tan head that is slow to rise to the surface. Roasted malts and tons of smoke, ash and tobacco dominating the flavour palette, with some additional dark cherries, peat, dark chocolate, leftover coffee grounds and a light metallic oxidation. Intensely roasty and bitter, and I mean really intense.

Een beetje versteend fossiel en veenlijk ook. Lekker trekdroppie.

Tap. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, present but not too intense peat smoke, salt, chocolate, liquorice. Taste is light peat, chocolate, earthy, salty liquorice. Thick and velvety mouthfeel. Amazing.

Bottle at home. Black with decent size tan head. Looking good. Deep roasted chocolate and dark malts. Peated whisky. Charcoal, ash, molasses, licorice spice melange and vanilla. Dark fruits in heavy sea clay. Moderate sweet and deep but mild and warm earthy bitter tones. Full body with soft carbonation. Lovely whisky dipped impy. Light creamy, light sandy and oat milky feel. Long lasting deep roasty ashy notes.
