On tap at Fuggles Beer Cafe Tonbridge. Black beer lasting tan head. Dark tarry malt dark chocolate aroma peaty whisky aroma. Peaty whisky flavour no doubt. Dark chocolate. Good malty backbone carries beer well. Just about got the balance right between impy stout and whisky ageing. Hides abv well with just a little heat coming through. Vanilla. Chocolate dark. Peat. It's pretty good. I mean not my type of beer at all. Too strong too whisky barrel for a beer i woyld normally like. But its pretty good. Got me merry.

Bottle from het Biermoment, dated 30-06-17. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of lots of peat and whisky. Thick and massive smokey whisky and peat in taste as well, slight booze, quite some roast and coffee as well. Bit dry in the finish. Decent balance actually, good beer.

waxed seal, zwart met mooie volle fijne bruine kraag.aroma geroosterd en gebrand, chocolade, bourbon, alcohol, volmoutig en caramel, smaken zijn redelijk dik, romig, wat turfachtig, whisky, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, graan, stevig, hout, drop, zeer stevige smaken, wat te stevige Bowmore imo, redelijke body, al met al een beetje té...

Butelka 330ml (bottled on 05.07.2017). Czarne, całkowicie nieprzejrzyste z brązową, kremową pianą, trwała z wyraźnym lacingiem. W aromacie paloność, czekolada, delikatne nuty winne i subtelna wędzonka. W smaku wytrawne, mocno palone z nutami czekolady i subtelnym winnym kwaskiem na finiszu aczkolwiek paloność rządzi pozostawiając długi, ciut popiołowy posmak. Dodatkowo alkohol leciutko pali w przełyku i rozgrzewa od środka aczkolwiek jest dość dobrze ukryty. Piwo jest pełne w odbiorze, gęste, nisko nasycone, wytrawne choć w posmaku pozostaje delikatna słodowa słodycz, bardzo dobrze zbalansowane.
