Bloody Vlad is our Juicy Red India Pale Ale and it’s bloody good! It’s brewed with a bunch of hops (chinook, citra, mosaic and hallertau blanc), four kinds of berries and hibiscus tea to give a final touch to this 6.66% ABV fruity beer.

Bottle @ Slovak tasting 08/2019. Medium, off-white, quick gone head. Colour is red, hazy. Aroma is red fruits, cherries, raspberries, sweet syrupy fruity. Taste is medium malty base, red fruits, raspberries, cherries, decent bitterness, strawberries, not good balanced, partially enjoyed.

Bottle at a tasting. Rather high bitterness, also high tannins from berry piths, assertive red fruit character, but does not combine well with the hops at all. Med-light sourness too. Combines weirdly and not goodly.

Bottle at tasting, thanks Rubin. Malty and hoppy aroma and taste, berries fruit, light sour, medium bitter. Medium body, fruity bitter and sour finish. Too lot of flavours. Average.

Cloudy pink beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, lots of raspberries, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet and fruity, quite some raspberries, bit yeasty, more fruity. Aftertaste: bit yeasty, soft bitterness, nice raspberry flavours, very good!

Hazy purple colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are packed with forest fruits. Nice balance of sweet and sour with a loght hoppy bitterness too.

Bottle from Silke. Pours red with lumps. A frothy pink head forms. All sorts of things swimming in there—I left the last 15% or so in the bottle. Has a tart/bitter taste full of raspberries, herbs and pine, with the tartness rising at the end. Drunk with Timo amid much distraction at Sabrina’s & parents Flammkuchenabend so never got time to really assess. Good though apart from the optics.
