Montana, a state full of open space to roam and full of endless possibility, provided the inspiration for this superb dark beer. Brewed with finest quality malts and hops, Montana hits the trail with a full spectrum of malt flavours in each sip, followed by a crisp clean bitter finish and a complex full hop aroma.

33cl bottle from Le Comptoir Irlandais in Nice, France. Big, tan, good retention head. Colour is amber clear. Nose is malty, sweet fruity, bit honey, caramel. Taste is medium malty base, fruity, bit biscuits, dry on the palate, bready touch, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, for organic and GF beer more than ok, almost enjoyed.

330ml bottle. Gluten Free. Golden-brown amber colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of fruity orange hop, malt. Taste is sweetish, malty, toffee, fruity with marmaladey orange hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Carrefour, Metz - thanks, Anke! Pours hazy amber with a big, slowly thinning, foamy, off-white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of peanut, walnut, butterscotch, raisin, fig, green tea, iron. Taste is light malty sweet, caramel & nuts, fruity edges & faint toast; medium herbal bitter core with dried tea, apple peel, mocha & metallic touch. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering nuttiness & unfortunately some iron too. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, soft carbonation. Malty & refreshing, not much more going no here.
