19 May 2019. At SWAFFF!, Brussels. Cheers Anke & Rubin77! Hazy red, lasting, small, foamy, pink head. Aroma of red grapes, wheat, wood, raspberry, lemon peel, bread, straw, red wine. Taste is medium to heavy fruity sour, lots of grapes, redcurrant & lemon acid, a bit wheaty, toned down by sweetish jam, woody tannins & bitter fruit seeds and a vague accent of ureum. Dry, tart, very lemony finish, wood & red grape giving a red wine-like effect, yet quite mouth-puckering. Medium body, slick-oily texture, soft carbonation. Very dry and sour but wine aspect works well.

Sample draught @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (2nd day) shared with nathanvc and Anke, many thanks. F: big, pink, average retention. C: very dark red, hazy. A: raspberries, sour red berries, brett touch, lambic like, woody. T: sour red berries, bit fruity vinegar, brett, woody, red forest fruits, bit puckering, dry on the palate, medium body and carbonation, better than I expected actually.

I Draught /I Good rosy-pink head, beautiful ruby-garnet colour, faintly veiled. Beautiful fruity, grapey, red fruit nose, inviting with just a little lactic acid and sweet breadspread. Sourish red fruit flavour, sourish winegrapes, vinous, bit of raspberry coulis. Acidthinning, slight dry-out effect. Low carbonation. Yet another superb Italian grapebeer. Magnificamente!
