Donkergeel bier met veel schuim wat snel wegzakt. Kwam zelfs de fles uit. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van honing, wat houttonen en heel licht citrus. Smaak blijft wel erg lang hangen.

The second Viridis Vallis beer, a blonde with subtle hoppy character... Bottle from Fontana in Sint-Niklaas. Very thickly plastery lacing, egg-white, frothy, dense and closed, very stable, thick head on a lightly hazy pale orange-tinged warm 'old gold' robe with lively strings of sparkling rushing through a suspension of tiny translucent yeast dots. Aroma of dried apricot, orange peel, banana bread, moist white pepper, crumbled old bread crust, bitter honey, freshly cut red apple, vague hints of toasted onion, tonic water, iron shavings and dried field flowers. Fruity onset but fairly cleanly so, sweetish with a sourish undertone, impressions of dried peach, apricot and some fried banana, crisp red apple touch as well, lively carbonated with minerally effects; very smooth, lean, slick and bit bubblegummy, almost soapy-cereally malt body, sweetish but only very restrainedly so, tad grainy but remaining soft and smooth till the end in spite of this vague metallic edge; eventually soaked in a grassy, spicy hoppiness providing a long-stretched, wormwoody but not overly harsh bitterness and retronasal wild flower and dried orange peel accents. Creamy maltiness and fruity esters are retained amidst this peppery hoppiness. Decent Belgian blonde in line with modern times, streamlined, clean, not overly yeasty and with a pleasant hop bitter 'bite' in the end, I had way worse Belgian blondes than this.

Bouteille 33cl @ Niamey craft beer tasting, merci Benoit. Contract brewed at Anders, BB 21/06/2020. Orange, col blanc.

Golden colour with big fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of fruity, yeasty notes. Has a fresh and lightly bitter taste. Easy to drink.

33cl bottle from De Keyzer Drinks (Zaventem) near Brussels. F: huge, snow-white, long lasting. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, nice mellow fruity, bit mellow mango, floral, spicy. T: solid malty backbone, fruity, spicy, peach, floral, bit dusty, decent harmonic bitterness, medium body and higher carbonation, nice balanced beer but I am not sure here about the style still more Belgian ale for me, enjoyed.
