75cl bottle (brewed 03/04/2018, bottled 17/05/2018, BBF: 17/05/2023) from brewery promotion kiosk in Maasmechelen Village in Maasmechelen, Belgium. F: big, tanned, long lasting. C: dark, opaque. A: dark malts, caramel, bit dark bread, chocolate touch. T: dark malts, dry herbal, bit dark fruity, bit chocolate, decent long lasting bitterness, bit coffee aftertaste, medium body and carbonation, quite nice but for 9,9€ nothing really special for sure.

Thick, dense, pitting-in lighte beige head over deep dark mahogany beer. Very obvious chocolate, wood, plywood, cardboard, melanoidins. Wood, very dry, dark green leaves, chocolate, melanoidines, hint at red wine, as well as tannines. Warming up, liquorice. Very good spritzy carbonation, medium bodied, dry aftertaste. Nice!

At Winter Beer Fest 2017, Waregem. Shared with Anke!
Hazy black with a small, off-white head. Aroma of licorice, dark fruit, dark chocolate, some coffee, caramel. It tastes light malty sweet and medium roasted bitter; very light toasty finish, a bit metallic. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Good, but I wouldn't say it's that experimental.
