Clour is hazy medium golden, small frothy white to off-white head, briefly lasting, small rim remains. Aroma sweet malt, grain, yeast, light citrus, banana. Flavour medium sweet and light bitter, malty, yeast, banana (also retronasal), lemon, spicy notes leading to a light bitter finish, bit orange pith and spicy notes. All in all an okay speciale belge.

Brug Cider aurait été un nom plus approprié pour cette Boers. Il y a en effet un air de cidre sans cette bière qui est assez surprenant. Elle n’en vaut pas un bon cidre toutefois car elle manque de complexité, d’intensité et quelque peu d'équilibre. Le blond parfaitement limpide est toutefois sympathique et parcouru par de nombreuses bulles très fines. Aucune mousse à la surface cependant. Le nez est sur un houblon frais et herbacé, légèrement citronné avec un petit écho de cidre. L'attaque est quant à elle davantage sur le malt que sur le houblon et présente des arômes de céréales, de citron et de coriandre. La deuxième bouche monte légèrement sur l'amertume mais teintée de cidre accompagné d'une astringence renforçant l'impression de cidre. D'où proviennent ces arômes ? Y aurait-il une levure type Brett ? L'ensemble est surprenant tout de même. L'arrière bouche est quant à elle légèrement plus épicée. Le final, d'une bonne longueur, continue sur la lancée avec une petite aigreur. Troublante cette bière.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel troebel bier met stevig wit schuim. Geur van mout. Smaak als een doorsnee pils, beetje moutig met iets van fruit dat te lang heeft gelegen.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een fris bittere smaak, de hopsmaak is aanwezig maar niet overheersend.

Bottle shared. Very hazy golden with no head. Aroma of big herbs, weeds, nettles, grass, light citrus, yeast and light fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at ABC Beers. Hazy light golden with very short lasting white soon. Lime, light peppery yeast, grass, lots of herbs. Light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a hint of applepeel, fruitpeel bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation. Don’t like it. Quite boring actually.

Pale yellow with no head. Thin, watery texture. Hints of apple. Light hop bitterness. Bland.
