33cl bottle from 5th beer festival Carrément Bières in l’Abbaye de Villers-la-Ville in Belgium. F: big, tan, average retention. C: brown, hazy. A: malty, citrus, orange, mellow tropical fruits, bit spicy, bit pine. T: medium malty base, orange, mellow tropical fruits, bit pine resin, caramel, not typical Belgian but with American twist, medium carbonation, for me quite nice, enjoyed.

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Hazy amber, lasting, thick, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of peanuts, caramel, licorice, raisin, brioche. Taste is light to medium malty sweet, retaining the qualities of the aroma but with a weird varnish note, soapy & sourish touch, slightly herbal bitter with mocha & green tea, ending herbal hoppy, lingering green tea & caramel. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Quite weak in all aspects, too bad.
