L'Union fait la force. When Bart from Brasserie de L'Union contacted us to see if we could make a beer together we were immediately interested. Based on our Saison de Bruxelles we have developed this bitter blonde beauty.

5/VI/22 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Akke’s place, BB: n/a (2022-660)
Clear orange beer, big creamy yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, oxidized, weird, grains, a bit sourish, very spicy, ginger notes, meh. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: weird, cookies, spicy, bitter, floral, very strange flavour, very unpleasant. Aftertaste: weird, bitter, very spicy, very soapy, meh.

Bottle sample @ BIRA BIRA beer festival #1.

33cl bottle from Malt Attacks beer store in Brussels. F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, spicy, bit clove, bit orange peels, funky fruity, yeasty. T: medium malty base, spicy, yeasty, dusty, nice orange peels, dry on the palate, decent yet long lasting harmonic bitterness, medium body and soft carbonation, this is sure for me the best beer from this brewery so far, very enjoyable.
