Bottle. Black and opague. Nutty caramelly aroma with hints of licorice. Roasty, alcoholic flavor. Licorice, salt, coffee. Sweet, firmly hopped. Fairly well balanced.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with huge brown head. Aroma is malt, soy sauce, coffee, liquorice and Vegemite. Taste is light to medium sweet, medium bitter and light salty. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly bitter with notes of coffee, malt, soy sauce and liquorice.

On tap at Oluthuone Joutsen, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, some chalk, and dry cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with more robust roasted malt, light chalk, and dry cocoa. Dry and roasted, with good body. Nice stuff.

8 3 8 4 16 Bottle at Kiasla, Helsinki. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, licorice, dark fruit notes and caramel. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
