The Pépite is a highly fermented golden blond beer. Light in alcohol content, yet it has a soft and balanced body. As it is heavily hopped, the beer has a pleasant bitterness in addition to a fruity, herbal aroma. Ideal as an aperitif or to cool off in the evening, the Pépite is truly an everyday beer, or close to it!

Good, dense white head over finely carbonated hazy golden beer; some lace. Very dry nose, some dry spices, leafy herbs or weeds, and just a touch bacterial. Spicy, bit grainy/other grains flavour. Old wholemeal bread, dull. Maybe a tad oxydized as well. Flash of bitterness, as suddenly gone as appeared. Light body, and not very carbonated. Dull.

Bottle as a gift. Medium head with little lacing, settling quickly. Citric nose. Taste is mostly bitter and a bit watery. Heavily carbonized, quite refreshing, but not interesting.

Bouteille 33cl @ Palais des Bières, Genève. BB 16-09-2015.

33 cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ, BBE 02.04.2015
Aroma has grainy tones and some sweetish fruits. Flavour is somewhat tart with citrus, some grain and hints of hay. Not very EPA. Dunno what style this should belong to though.
