Sample at RBSG PGH 2016. Deep dark brown color, tan head. Aroma is mostly cocoa. Taste has chocolate, dark fruit. Decent.

Bottle at RSBG Grand Tasting 2016. This one says bourbon barrel. Big and black. Large and in-charge impy stout smack in the face. Yes, call this impy stout, its in the wrong style. So terribly on style for a giant rude volatile kick in the palate, whew. If you like impy stout, flip my numbers. Not sure what some of us find attractive in this style.

Bottle shared at Belgian Chimipalooza, thanks! Dark brown with a ring beige head. Aroma of malt, barrel oak, vanilla, booze, roast, toffee and chocolate. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.
