Tap at good beer faucets. This was marked as 10%. Not sure if the tap version is different from the bottle. Pale golden colour slightly cloudy. Big beige head that fades as you go down the pint. Aroma is grainy, touch of sweetness there, quite a bit of lemony bitterness too. Taste is very smooth, can definitely get the honey, also something floral. Finish is mildly bitter, just a touch of lemon. Quite spritzy. Can't believe this is 10% as it is very easy drinking. Just a hint of boozy sweetness in there.  Aftertaste is plenty of honey, and maybe a hint of booze. Tastes a bit Belgian, yeasty.  Nice.

Bottle at Tadgs thanks to Kyotolefty. Pours out a hazy golden topped with a small head. Nose is nice banana bread clove spice lots of fruit sweet esters going on. Taste is more of the banana clove bread malt and a nice thick chewy mouth fill.

Tap at Beer Cafe Bakujun, Kyoto. 9 %. Vintage 2013. Murky orange color, small white head. Aroma has banana and some honey. Medium-bodied. Overriped banana, caramel and honey. Some alcohol but not in a disturbing way. Very nice and interesting.

9% can from the GJBF Osaka. It pours a mellow honey yellow with a fizzy head of white foam that vanished almost immediately. Banana, yeast, booze aroma. Ugh, the taste is booze, banana pancakes & possibly oxidization? Kind of a wet cardboard finish. It is mostly just a super yeasty beer, it tastes like there are off flavors there but then again it could just be that it didn’t age well over the last few months. Just weird but not in a good way. I guess I should have drunk it fresh.

Hazy golden color, thin white head. Honey, cloves and bananas in the nose. Very thick heavy nose. Mouth is full bodied, rich lots of cloves and bananas. Lingering clovey finish.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Light, dull, cloudy golden color. Rather low, fine head. Rich wheat aroma, banana and clove, with some other fruits. Not so big and bock-like. Flavor is bigger, with alcohol noticeable; spicy, fruity, rather sweet and rich with honey and some tang of peaches and oranges. Nice, complex fruitiness and controlled sweetness, though it is slightly too alcoholic. Good stuff.
