A beer with generous amounts of wheat malt for a light, refreshing taste. Look for the subtle hints of spice and lemon.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy white head with gold color. Aroma is hay, yeast, acidic, secondary hops. Taste is light malt, hay, musty, acidic, smooth. Flat/slight bitter finish-aftertaste. OK carbonation.

Pours a darkish golden, without much of a head. Light effervescence. Primary aroma is lemony, with some mild spicy and minty notes. Flavor seems more spicy than lemony, with notes of maybe coriander. Pretty light palate, and not as zesty as most wheat beers.

Pours a clear pale amber color with a thin off-white head with little retention and minimal lacing. The aroma has some citrus and malt in it. Light-bodied with light wheat, spice and fruit flavors. The finish is sweet with hints of malt and citrus. All in all this is an average beer like everything else I have tried from Saranac.

Bottle. A lemony and spice flavor, with the same kind of taste. Not too bad, but nothing overly special. Reminded me of a Belgian White, but hey what do I know?

Pours golden with a slightly amber tint. No head. Banana in the nose as well with spice and coriander. Flavor is bubblegummy and much more malt than I would have expected. Actually, not bad at all. Finishes with a lemon bite.

Golden ale with a thick collapsable white head. I note lemon candy in aroma. In mouth, crisp malt with a good malt base with lemon notes in final. Medium bodied for a wheat. Not bad.

Bottle. Soapy lemon aroma. Amber with little head. Light lemon malt flavor. Medium carbonation. Blah unexciting beer if you can call it that. Nothing offensive but nothing exciting.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a light honey color with a large orange-white head. The aroma is sweet crisp malts, citrus and pepper. The flavor is rather dry with a bit of an artificial lemon flavor underneath and touches of cardboard and pepper. The finish is dry and tangy.
