12 oz bottle given to me by beastiefan2k. Pour is a hazy, somewhat cloudy orange amber with a 1/2 inch dirty white head that falls quickly. Aroma of soft apricot fruit sweetness with a nice gentle bready maltiness. A touch of floral perfume. Taste is mostly floral sweetness, more honey sweetness than the apricot of the nose. The sweetness is also a bit artificial tasting, doesn’t have the softness of the nose. The apricot comes out a bit in the finish. Palate is medium to thin, lowish carbonation, quick and clean finish. Decent enough, thanks for sharing Eugene.

Clear golden coloured body with a super-thin white head. Aroma of cardboard, pledge cleaner, old malt and stale hops - horrible! Light-bodied; Horrible bland taste with nothing else going on - just lemon pledge and cardboard. Overall, a nasty beer - just as expected! Not worthy of drinking unless you like the taste of glass-bottled water. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 18 November 2006.

12 oz. bottle. Fizzy and slightly hazy orange pour with a small head. Very citrusy lemon-like aroma with some yeast and spice notes. Taste is lemon, wheat and and straight sugar. Watery and inconsistent.

Just when you think you’ve tasted every possible saranac, another comes by. Clear pale yellow and whats up with the addition of caramel color? Very disappointing, coloring is not needed. The aroma is pleasingly beery yeasty. Has a tad of wheat beer flavor but not as much as the label touts, same with the lemon and other spices, barely perceivable. Comes across mostly like a pale lager but perhaps there is a little bit of that ale bitterness in there. Just a plain old fairly mild light ale. Finish does have a slight bitter ale linger. Not bad for a session beer.
