Bottle. Pours deep brown with a rootbeer floatlike head. Coffee in the nose. Mild in the mouth, plain even. Tastes like a dark lager. Big disappointment.

A little better than the ordinary bottled version we get in the states. More malt, a little thicker, and the roasted character is more prominent in the aroma and flavor. A better than average dry stout.

Sampled on draft at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium this beer poured a black color with a small tan head. The aroma was faint dry, tangy and a little bitter. The flavor was dryish, tangy and a little tart and bitter with a faint roasty and lightly malty middle and a faint hint of fruit and chocolate. Medium body. Ok.

12 ounce bottle from Grape and Gourmet in Virginia Beach, VA. Pours a clear dark ruby color with a large frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is very weak with notes of light roast and sweet malts. Taste is roasted malts, tobacco, caramel, an nutty oatmeal like vibe and a lightly hopped finish. Strong, spritzy carbonation. Thin bodied.

11.2oz bottle–pours a foamy light brown head and black with red color. Aroma is dark malt-roasty. Taste is dark malt-roasty/peat, some earthy hops, slight licorice. Easy. Medium body. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing.

tap @ Four Green Fields, Tpa. Pours dark brown, beige head. aroma is slightly roasted, hitns of chocolate and nicer that the original Guinness. Taste was light, hints of roasted malts and caramel, tiny chocolate mouthfeel. Mix has light notes of hops. Overall it’s easy to drink and more satisfying than the regular version.

on tap, pour black with a very thin to non-existant head. Aroma is roasted malt and some pine/hops. Flavor is standard guinness with a more pronounced roastedness and some lingering hop bitterness in the finish. Meh.....

Bottle. Poured deep red black with thick white head. Much lacing. Very little aroma, a little malt, a little roast. Very thin flavour. a little coffee, a little roast. Over carbonated for a stout. Weak finish. Disappointing, one expects better from Guinness.
