We’ve been brewing this intense coconut Imperial Stout for many years and are finally bringing it to you in cans! We infuse the 12% base Stout with over 30lbs of organic toasted coconut per barrel for loads of luxurious silky coconut oils. Rich with flavors of silky chocolate malts, bitter sweet cacao, subtle toffee, molasses and roast along with endless mouth-coating coconut oils. The finish is nutty and sweet like a liquid Mounds bar with a well hidden alcohol kick. How would someone describe Blammo! in one sentence? It's better than bad, it's good!

Draft at Mikkeller. Pours near black with a small beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, molasses, vanilla, light licorice and a little alcohol. Go out is heavy sweet and bitter, with a thick oily sweet palate with the coconut coming out a little. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar. Aroma is sweet and nice with strong cocoa tones. Also some licorice. Flavour has rubbery tones, alcohol, slightly salty licorice and hints of tobacco. Finishes with some sugary and syrupy sweetness. Aroma was promising but flavour is somewhat too inky.

On tap at the Brewpub. Black with a minimal tan head. Roasted malt, toffee, some oak, dark chocolate and warming alcohol. The body was full and the aftertaste long. A nice one.

The beer is black, wall to wall. Small brown head. Some nice dark lacing on the glass. The aroma has light coconut, sweet cream and fudgy chocolate. Some piney hops show through the stout flavors. Roast is mild. Just a touch of booze. Taste starts sweet and ends with a moderately bitter finish. Chocolate and caramel dominant in the taste. Booze is a bit more present here and gets in the way of things a bit. Mild tannic oak quality. Mouthfeel is smooth but a little thin. Just gets a little bitter and thin with a bit too much booze. Doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Still, this is an excellent effort for their first really big stout.

Tap. Pours inky black with a medium dark brown creamy head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is very roasty, lots of dark chocolate and coconut. Flavor is light plus sweet, quite bitter, lots of roastiness, some coconut notes, as well as bakers chocolate. Definite heat, but considering the ABV it is fairly muted. Solid.
