Seems like this is out of retirement and possibly got a boost in ABV. On tap at Kamikaze’s 2nd Anniversary event, 6$ for a pint! 5% a great chocolatey aroma, quite full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is tons of chocolate, roasty & smooth. Good stuff. I don’t know who added this as a black IPA though this is in no way bitter like a cascadian dark ale, it is more of a cross between a porter/stout & a bitter... possibly the recipe has changed?

light body. Well balanced, moderate bitterness. Decent, but not outstanding.

Draught at Q-Brick. Dark brown, almost black, with orange tints and lace for a head. Basically an India Black Ale, but with low alcohol. Aroma of chocolate malt and English hops. Lightly fruity, with lots of pine. Flavors of chocolate, licorice, pine, tobacco. Very bitter and with great balance. Clean and light. Very nice.
