Tap at the Quin’s Head, Twickenham Stoop stadium, 09/03/13. Pours a (chill) hazed golden amber with a big creamy light beige head that retains well. Nose is GK yeasts, light caramel, biscuit, cereals. Taste follows - not a lot doing, touch citrus and slight metallic tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, cold !!! Bland keg offering from an already bland brewer - pretty much as I expected!

Cask at Ye Olde Cock Inn, Didsbury. Dark amber with orange, low, fine head. Fruity aroma. Flavor of fruit and hops, blander than Abbott ale, though. Ok malt, but weaker than Abbott. Decent balance, good hopping. Smooth, medium light body. Not quite IPA strength malt or hops--even in the British sense of IPA. Disappointing, but nice enough.

[on tap at the Warwick Arms, Reading] I had the "chilled" version of this because there were no other bitters available in this pub. Thick creamy lasting nitrokeg head despite negligible carbonation. Utterly tasteless while chilled apart from a faint bitterness this tasted not just watery, but actually like water Allowed it to warm to see if this bought out any flavour, but no. Still almost tasteless - a faint mustiness, and a slightly more discernable bitterness. Hint of sourness in the aftertaste. The most tasteless beer I’ve yet encountered, and I feel that to call it a beer at all is an insult to beer. It is certainly in no way an IPA. For one of the very few times in my life I wish I’d had a macro lager instead

Keg at the Golden Farmer, Bracknell. Gold with a creamy off-white head; despite the typical nitrokeg smooth and cold style, some hops actually come through; finish is slightly bitter and dry.
