2019 version from a Family Mart can. Golden with a better head than usual from a beer like this. A bit of grain along with grassy hops. Not much to add to that. Mediocre but better than many.

Can, and from the can. Usual yellow and fizzy look, "normal beer". Nose has sweetish corn, lift biscuits and boiled cereals. Hint of his but not really. Tastes quite usual, light and watery drinking, bitterness is not bad, somewhat bitter and tannin-dry - but fresh hops are still lost to me. Quaffable, usual izakaya fare. OK.

50 cl can from Tokyo, nice design. Pours clear golden color with a frothy white head. Neutral smell. Aroma is clean malts lager with decent leafy hops, some biscuit and a vague fruity note. Helles-like. Flattish taste, a bit sweetish, faint metallic bitterness. Thin oily texture, light to medium body, smooth finish with a cheese note. Heeee... i was HOP-ing for an hop kick but it’s not there. Very clean and highly sessionable tough.

Another can smuggled in country by my sister in law, thanks Terry! Pours a deep clear golden color with a nice bubbly bone white head that slowly recedes after sticking some lace. The aroma is very weak. Faint grain with sweet malt and floral hop and skunk. Taste is sweet and grainy with a hint of spicy earthy hops. Light honey and green apple flavors in there as well. Light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet watery mouthfeel. This one is actually not to bad. A bit thin and lacking pizazz but I actually tasted hops for a second there and that can’t be a bad thing.

350 ml can. The first fresh hop Kirin since they went all-malt. Medium gold with a medium head. Good noble hop aroma, fragrant. Good, rich malt flavor with lots of aromatic hops. Very nice, full-flavored and rich. Great citrus hops. An impressively hoppy beer for a major. Definitely one of the best they’ve made, though it could use a bit more bitterness in the finish.
