Draft. A black beer with a huge lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught @ Fermentoren Aarhus, Norregade 24, DK-8000 Aarhus, Denmark. [ As ؘlsnedkeren Amerikaner Stout ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dry, oyster stout notes, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sweet licorice, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150312]

[4/30/15] Draught at Lord Nelson in Copenhagen. Black with a tan head. Roasty aroma with coffee and some piney hops. Bitter flavor, roasty and hoppy. Medium-bodied.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of herbal and spicy hops, pine, licorice, charcoal and a touch of smoke. Dry, roasted flavour with fine fruity and piney hops. If To Øl Black Ball and Brewpub Coltrane are stronger versions of my no longer existing, all time favourite beer, Ølfabrikken Porter, then this is the miraculous, if a slightly little too burned, lower alcohol version. Which is to say, I like it...

Tap at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is dry earthy malt, light coffee. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a slightly light, watery, smoky malt light spicy liqourice, woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied witn soft carbonation.

Draft @ Taphouse, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with hints of licorice. Roasted malty bitter chocolate and licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (09/04/2015) - black pour with beige head. Roasted malty aroma and taste, chocolate, coffee, caramel, roasted finish. Very nice.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted. Chocolate and dark malty. Mild liqourice. Dark roasted chocolate finish.
