Named after the Glockenspiel of Marienplatz in Munich, Germany, our full-bodied weizenbock reverberates with vibrant flavors. Complex, spicy notes of clove and banana ring brightly through deep-tones of sweet malt and earthy hops.

Iced tea pour with a swirling sediment spellbinding appearance. Sweet, clean and strong on the olfactory. Oh my, a strong pikantus impact. Big wheat bock fer sure. Wew, wheat beer kick. Difficult and alkoholic at times. Some creamy carbonation but the finish is really just plain large get you dizzy!

Bottle thanks to Jsquire. Pours with an aptly described, hazy plum colored body (not like the one pictured), with a fading off-white head. Aroma is strongly alcoholic for 8% ABV, and is backed with banana, toffee, cotton candy, sweetness, vanilla and wheat notes. Lower residual sugars than I was expecting, with bananas and buckwheat pancake batter. Falls a bit flat on the taste compared to the awesome aroma. Bubbly, lively and creamy carbonation.

Bottle Pours out a golden amber topped with a tan head. Aroma was of belg yeast, spice, banana, and rich malts. Taste was more of the spice, some nutmeg and candy sweetness.

Location: 12 oz bottle that jcos brought back from Cleveland, 9/11/09
Aroma: Sweet nose of yeast, berries, and nuts
Appearance: Pours a clear reddish-amber color
Flavor: Nice complexity, some sweet fruit, yeast, spice
Palate: Nice medium-full body, no alcohol burn. smooth
Overall Impression: This is a pretty nice beer, it really works nicely, and can see why it is so highly rated, quite tasty and enjoyable. A rich, flavorful beer with a nice complexity of flavor. I could see going even higher on this score after a few more samplings, but I'll rate it here for now. This is a pretty interesting beer.
Drinking this one while watching MJ's HOF speech, raise a glass to the GOAT!

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy copper colour, brief head. Banana aroma with light toastiness. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel. Pleasant banana esters, but the clean moutfheel doesn’t allow for muchdpth in flavour

Bottle. Bright amber color with a lace, fine head. Clear. Very original looking. Fruity, caramel aroma, with wheat malt and spices. Very fruity flavor, with cherries predominating, wheat malt, light banana. Slight sourness, and a bit of bitterness at the finish. Rich and tasty. Not like any weizenbock I’ve had before-original and interesting, though missing much of the rich, soft, wheat maltiness.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours a very reddish amber with a large, bubbly beige/tan head. Lots of cooked stone fruit in the aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor has dark fruits and banana. Mixed spice notes. Really quite pleasant. Seems mild after Oat Goop, but it’s very flavorful. Finishes a bit malty, but the banana and spice persist. Good stuff. Seems like it would be good for breakfast.

Nice banana and wheat notes with sweet malts and refreshing fruits. Dark fruits mix with the syrupy sweetness making it quite a meal of a beer. Solid.

Bottle. Deep amber body with a big, but diminishing, off-white head. Spicy/fruit aroma of banana, clove, biscuit, wheat and caramel. Hints of orange, alcohol. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes the same. Tastes of sweet banana, overripe fruit. Slight lingering taste of alcohol and nail polish that drags this down a little. Medium body with a very smooth texture. Lively carbonation. Nice balance and complexity.
