As Iwate Wheat & served in a tumbler. Fruity hop bouquet with spicy wheat and Clift cloves in the aroma. A semi-cloudy gold with a big fluffy head of foam & decent staying power. Medium bodied & smooth. The taste is nice, big cloves, chewey wheat, a dash of malt sweetness that is somewhat jam like and some hops. A really nice wheat beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks like this one is back out of retirement. Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy light gold with a huge soapy white head. Aromas of banana, wheat and clove with a nice sour element on the nose. Taste is more of the same with the sourness really coming out as it warms up. Light and refreshing with a nice sour character.

nice clovely banana nose. A bit off balanced, strong banana bread flavor, ok, but not as expected.

Draught at the Brewery Tap in Morioka. Pale yellow color with a huge, fine, snowy head. Hazy but not cloudy. Rich banana and clove aroma, sweet, fruity wheat. A bit too much? Big banana flavor; lots of wheat. Sweet as hell. Too much, though not bad. A bit too cloying overall, but tasty, thick and rich with a slight bitter touch in the finish but no sour flavors at all.
