Bottle from Nomono. Kolsch like. creamy, grainy, light grassy hops. Very drinkable. Pretty crisp. Nice lightly bitter finish. Not my favourite style, but a pretty nice, example.

Keyaki fall 2016. Light honey and floral notes with some faint stone fruit notes in the background. Clean and easy drinking with good carbonation and some light creaminess. Light hoppy finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tazawako Kolsch on 20 Sep 2016 at 22:19 - Score: 7

Sample at the Hanshin Seed Event. Clear gold, sweet grain aroma- possibly slightly buttery? The taste is grainy sweet, a bit of green bitter hops in the finish, a bit light malts & breadiness. OK.

Grassy hoppy nose, with hints of hay. Soft body, well balanced, but a bit too much hops for the style. Short, dry floral finish, but bitterness is appropriately toned down. Freshing and light. Good for a summer day.

Bottle from the brewery. Light golden color; average for the style. Fruity, slightly sweet, slightly hoppy aroma. Taste is right on—fruit, light malt, some honey, decent hops, too! A well-made Koelsch on the hoppy, full-flavored side.
