Tap at Craft Beer Server Land. Looks as you would expect, clear, golden, white creamy head. Aroma is similarly as required, light biscuity malt, creamy, light hoppiness. Taste is good, and again as you would want. Creamy but with just a little hoppy bite. This is pretty good! Nice and crisp.

Draft - Nice soft grains. Clear gold with nice white head. Soft grains with no bitterness and bready.

Tap at DC Hama. Light grainy nose with some light grass notes. Biscuity malts with a nice soft, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Not much hops on the finish but still a nicely done pils. Highly drinkable and solid for the style. But not enough hops for my liking. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tazawako Pilsner on 27 May 2016 at 22:17 - Score: 6. On tap at the Osaka Craft Beer Picnic. A crystal clear gold with a filmy white head & a big bready, crackery light malts with a floral hop aroma. The taste is nice and light and crisp. A very nice pilsner.

Moderately grassy hoppy nose. Well balanced body with lots of grassy hoppiness. Backbone is lacking a bit, but does not distract from the beer. Solid bitter finish. Nothing too complex, but well done.

Draught at 2012 GJBF Osaka. Nice german grassy hop nose. Quite fizzy, nicely hopped. Crisp and good. Northern style. Better than before, I think. Draught at the brewpub, 2009: 6/3/6/3/13. Medium gold color. Malty, cereal aroma; quite rich. Ok light hopping. Reasonably malty flavor, well balanced, with a touch of aroma hop and an ok bitter finish. Not really interesting, but decent.
