Draught at Thrash Zone. Cloudy golden-orange color. Big hop aroma, with citrus, honey, orange. Huge, lemony, hop flavor. Also quite bitter. Lightish malt that kind of gets overwhelmed by the hops. Unbalanced, way hoppy, but a blast! Fun and crazy. Hoppiest beer yet made in Japan!

Draught at Thrash Zone, Yokohama Hazy pale amber, small head. Enormous rich grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with light body and creamy mouthfeel. freshly hoppy, where the intense hop aromas turn almost oily, yet the bitterness is never assaulting. Fun and really drinkable.

I’d like to have a personal keg of this. Hopped to high heaven, but remarkably balanced (the dry hopped version, at least). Grapefruit, citrus, light herbal notes and a huge bitter bite. I have to agree with the others who say "where is the cream ale" in this crossover, but I also don’t care, because it was tasty. Send this one to the States and see it rocket up the top 50 chart.

A hop bomb. Plain and simple. Japan’s answer to over the top westcoast IPAs. Sufficient backbone to give the beer body, but hops are so upfront in the nose with grapefruits and other citrus notes. Then complete hop assault on the tongue on the first sip. Hops hit everywhere and hard. Huge, blast of hops at the end. Though, like I said before I give the malt credit, this show is all about the hops. Well over the top and then some. I recommend they send this to the US West Coast, it would compete well and hop heads would love it. Offensive and great!
