On tap at Popeye, pours a cloudy peachy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out coriander and citrus zest. Flavour is crisp, with big coriander notes, citrus and soft wheaty notes. Lots of coriander and dry citrus. Good stuff for the style.

Bottle. Aroma is creamy, herbal, citrus. Taste is smooth, vanilla ice cream, bit of lemon, bit of wheat. Fairly standard stuff, but nice enough.

On tap at world beer summit nagoya 2016. Cloudy yellow with little white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, honey, mango, a little malt, that i cant specify. Taste is a subtle fresh sourness with lots of fruits in the finish, but not the typical IPA heavy kind of fruityness, everything is very light. Very enjoyable.

Tap at Popeye, Tokyo [Snow Blonsh]. 5.0 %. Hazy yellow color, medium-sized white head, lace. Aroma has spiceyness and lemon. Light-bodied. Lemon soap and coriander flavor. Not my cup.

sampled 2012 au Brau Beviale. Perfumed aroma, chamomile and coriander. Milky yellow, white head. Mellow smooth mouthfeel . Sweet perfumed, citric and almondy. Bit too spicy for me.

Bottle from a liquor shop in Roppongi. It pours a cloudy gold with a nice spicy white beer aroma. The taste is a very solid witbier. ---March 2014---- On tap, at Shirayuki taproom/brewery. Part of the 780 yen tasting set, a great deal! Light cloudy gold with a thick foamy head. Light spice & citrus aroma, I think the Hosokawa aroma is stronger. Light soft carbonation give it a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is weizen yeast spice notes with a kind of sweet soapy bubblegum quality. Tasty but I think I prefer the lighter Hosokawa.

Golden coloured beer, small white head. Nice spices wafting up, with a very remarkable smell as from eucalyptus or eucalyptus wood. Fruitesters and coriander dominating the taste, yeasty and different, difficultly identifyable spices. Backing dough retronasal. Creamy texture. Very remarkable for a witbier.

Draught at the brewpub. Light yellow, with a lacy fine head. Pale and cloudy. Aroma of coriander, citrus and lots of wheat, rather sweet. Lots of orange and coriander flavor, good wheat, a bit too sweet. Slightly buttery and well rounded. Like a spicier Hoegaarden. Good, but a bit too much coriander. A decent example of the style, though not very original.
