Draught at Q-Brick. 2010: They have corrected the balance a bit this year, with better malt to back up the still good hops. Although mainly American in hopping, I sense some British flavors as well, maybe Kent Goldings, and the tobacco that is often found in such hops. 2009: 7/4/7/3/13. Deep copper color with a very fine head. Decent hoppy aroma—fragrant and flowery with some fruit. Sweet, fruity, refreshing and light flavor, with a massive bitter finish. Huge bitterness, with a decent balance before that. Nice, though not so remarkable. Rather lacking balance.

Golden with a white head. Starts off with plenty of fruit, citrus hops, light floral, and some pine in the aroma and flavor. If I had scored it after my first couple gulps I would have given it a mid to high 3. After the originaly taste this beer falls apart. No more fresh fruit, floral, or pine. Just some nearly tasteless citrus bitterness.

A one off at last year’s GJBF. Deep golden color, fresh piney fruit nose. Mouth is noticably unbalanced, some pine, citrusy character, but a somewhat weak boring finish. Suprisingly lackluster from the brewery that usually makes great seasonals.
