At Shirayuki taproom/brewery. Part of the 780 yen tasting set, a great deal! An incredibly pale clear gold with a big foamy head that leaves behind nice lacing. No surprise it is so pale at just 3%! Spicy aroma, cloves/coriander. Light zesty body but the mouthfeel is kind of thin. Great classic Belgian witbier flavor of orange peel + spices. A top quality table beer, too bad this isn’t more widely available. Probably my favorite out of the tasting set. Plus I am always on the look out for a tasty low ABV beer.

Almost colorless. Off-white, like the kinds of sake with a yellowish tinge. Lace on top, fine. Very fruity aroma, tons of citrus, very nice. Sweet fruit. Fruity flavor with honey, butter, very sweet (too sweet for me). Creamy and interesting, very different. Sweet, somewhat sake-like finish. Almost no hops perceptible. Very interesting, though not really great. Like a Belgian style sake.
