Tap at Garage 39's 4th Anniversary. I tried the Brewmaster healing time coffee Porter 5% A deep black with reddish highlights and a freaky beige head. The taste was big licorice, no coffee and almost infected like. Weird. This thing is ducked and tastes like a beer cocktail mixed with a low-rent boozy oaky tannic spirit. Fail, man for a 4th Anniversary Garage 39 busted out the boring from good breweries and lots of junk from budget breweries, biggest waste of a great space I've ever seen.

A dark clear brown ale with a thcik big bubbled moka head. In aroma, a nice vanilla fudge aroma with sweet chocolate. In mouth, a nice maple and nuts taste, with caramel malt. Nice. Mondiale 2009, June 6 2009.

Bottle from the brewery. Lightish black color, dull-looking with a foamy head and lots of carbonation. Fruity, dark malt aroma, with coffee and funky yeast. Fruity flavor with cheap malt extract, funk-ass yeast, and a bit of coffee. Very bad. Less than 25% malt—what is the rest? Thin, sugary, ass. Bad all around.

Med brown color, dark fruit, molassess, dark chocolate and burnt sugar in nose. Not bad. Mouth is smooth, slightly sour, dark fruit and molassess. A bit too light, lingering molassess and soy flavors. Need a bit more umpphh to it, but still not bad.
