Light amber colour and dead flat. Itβs on cask, so it probably looks just fine in other formats. Toasty, woody anisey aroma. Balanced flavour - some great slightly pearlike estery notes along with well-extracted caramel malts and a subtle, earthy hop character. I could do a sixer of this.

Light copper colour. Aroma is mainly limey, with a hint of grapefruit. Body is a little thin. Flavour leans towards sweet lime. Slightly bitter - less hopped than the Red, but thereβs a lot less malt so it shows a bit more. Finish is dry, light. Re-sampled showed this beer as clean, with better malt character. Still light, but I may have underestimated the craftsmanship previously.

I really have to disagree with Gary the brewer on this one.Light amber, lasting beige head. Great lace.Neutral nose. Rather bland malt profile with very faint hops. Unremarkable.Nothing bad about this, but nothing really stands out.
