Tap@ Popeye, Oct 2009, assuming it is this one based on earlier ratings. Butterscotch and cascade aroma. Pretty amber, low layering head. Heavy Caramel, molassis, just about balanced by the hops. Medium oily body, some fattynes gets relieved. Caramel retronasal, pine on the tongue afterwards.

Draught at Popeye, Tokyo Clear viscous amber. Massive lychee hops up front. Sweet with clean, solid body. Massively hoppy and aromatic. The alcohol is fairly well hidden. Quite reminiscent of Old Foghorn, which is a good thing!

Tap at Beer Belly. May have been the 2006 version. Orange-amber color with lacy head. Aroma: very fruity, with cherry, raisin, caramel and hops. High carbonation. Lightish flavor with strong hops, caramel, dark fruits, some port and alcohol heat. Spicy. Slightly too light and hoppy, and alcohol is too present. Balance lacking. Got better with warmth.
